Today. How do I describe it? Pure. Joy. Kim and I spent the day with friends as we rummaged around in an old rubber factory. Once industry left the factory it became a flea market. Eventually ownership of the building changed hands, the flea market closed and the building was left full of...stuff. 30,000 square feet of stuff.
We explored every square inch of the place. Rode the freight elevator from floor to floor. Climbed on the roof. Looked in old offices, closets and bathrooms. Felt the enormity of wide open spaces and the warmth of light pouring in from floor to ceiling windows. It was pretty much a perfect Saturday afternoon.
